Limited housing stock has been greatly affecting most Californian's dream to own a home.
But good news has come since Governor Newsom signed SB 8, 9, 10. These bills passed as a law will give California and its cities new tools to build housing that will enhance communities and expand opportunities for residents across the state.
SB 9 requires cities to approve up to four housing units on what was a single-family lot. They would also have to approve splitting single-family lots so they could be sold separately.
